Wyatt Justin Lefler was born on Thursday December 15th at 4:35am. He weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 21in long. My due date came and went and I went in to see my Dr wednesday morning to discuss a date to be induced. My Dr had me scheduled for the following tuesday to be induced because that was the first opening the hospital had so I could have my Dr deliver. I did not really want to go that much longer but what else can you do?! Well while I was there he checked to see how far I was dilated which I was still about a 3 and he went ahead and scratched my membrane in hopes that it would put me into labor. Well sure enough that night around 5:00 I started having contractions. They weren't very strong and not very consistent but as the night went on that sure changed. Justin got home from work just after 6 and we spent the next few hours tracking contractions and watching Survivor. By the time we watched Survivor and Criminal Minds I was ready to go to the hospital. My contractions were pretty strong and about 3-5 minutes apart. So we headed to the hospital around 10:00. They took us straight up to labor and delivery put me in the triage room long enough to check to see that I was dilated to a 5 almost 6. They got us in a delivery room and then we waited, and waited for what seemed like forever to get my epidural! Realistically it was only a couple of hours from the time we got to the hospital but to me it was a LONG time! After I got my wonderful epidural they checked me again and I was about an 8 almost 9 but the weird thing was that my water hadn't broken yet. So they called my Dr and he came in and broke my water and pretty much right after I was to a +2 and ready to push. So I started pushing and pushing for about an hour and a half and he was born at 4:35am. Overall it was a fairly good labor and delivery especially with it being my first. I was so grateful that I was able to do everything on my own and didn't need any extra drugs or what not to put me into labor. We have definitely had some adjusting to do being parents now but I wouldn't change a single thing. I love my sweet little man so much and it grows everyday. I'm so grateful for the little family that I have!

Well tomorrow is my due date! Kinda crazy! I went to the doctor on Wednesday and I am dilated to 3cm and about 70% effaced, so it could happen at anytime! We had a false alarm last Saturday and spent a couple hours in the hospital. I was having contractions but they were not regular enough to keep me there. And ever since then I have been feeling fine. So the game plan is if I haven't gone into labor by Wednesday (which is my next Dr. appt) then we will schedule an induction. Of course we are now getting very impatient for this little guy to get here (especially Justin) so hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later!

What we have been up to...

Well the past few weeks have been kinda crazy in the Lefler house and I don't see them slowing down anytime soon! We have been staying busy getting the nursery ready (which is not quite done yet!) Finishing our backyard, working still, dealing with our crazy dog, and anything else you can think of! We are coming down to the wire! I am now 35 weeks so only 5 more weeks til my due date. This little guy is starting to run out of room or just likes to push, poke, and jab at me all day! We are getting really excited for him to get here I just hope we are ready for this! Last weekend was my baby shower and it turned out great. We got lots of great stuff for Wyatt and it is making me more and more excited to finally meet this guy. After the shower was over we realized that we didn't take any pictures during the whole thing so I took a few afterwards of some of the decorations and all the gifts we got! It was a great turn out though and I am so grateful for all those who helped with food and everything to make it what I wanted. (My sisters especially)

Not much else is going on with us! We are just getting things ready for little Lefler to get here and still doing our day to day things. I am still working about 32-36 hours a week and hoping I can keep it up until my due date but we will see. I am definitely getting more and more tired everyday and rather uncomfortable by the end of the day. We still have a crazy dog that we are trying to get a little more calm and mellow before this baby gets here! Sam is going to be super jealous though we can already tell. She whines when we don't pay attention to her so it should be interesting. Justin is still at the gun shop and just recently found out that Metro is on a hiring freeze, so that kinda burst our bubble but we are just trying to stay positive and hope that eventually something will come of it! Well we are looking forward to the holidays and all the fun and family time that will come! Hope everyone has a wonderful Grateful month!

Quick Update!!

Just a quick update in the Life of the Lefler's. Me and Justin are both staying very busy with work. Justin is still plugging away at Centermass but he has actually been doing some testing with Metro for corrections and police. We are hoping some good will come of this in the next few months but don't want to get our hopes up so we are taking it just one day and one test at a time! I am still working full time at the dental office and everyday it gets slightly harder getting up early and just doing my day to day tasks. I always come home so exhausted and slightly overwhelmed! But I'm managing and I am so grateful to have a job and to be getting the extra income. With a baby on the way we need it for sure! And thank goodness Justin is so helpful around the house and with Crazy (Sam our dog). Things are going good besides that! I am 28 weeks and feeling little man move a lot. I don't think I have mentioned it on here yet but we are planning on naming our little one Wyatt Justin. We have had this name picked out forever and I honestly think I like it more and more everyday! But we are just enjoying one day at a time slowly getting the nursery ready and trying to get ourselves ready for this new adventure! We can't wait and our so excited to become parents! Life is good!

Me and Justin just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary and we have had a tradition since we have been married that every Monday night we have gone to Taco Bell for dinner! We have found Taco Bells on trips if we are out of town on a Monday. We even went to Taco Bell on our honeymoon in Hawaii! (I don't think it was a monday but we are still counting it!) Justin even tricked me into Taco Bell after FHE when we were in the Singles Ward before our official first date. We have had fun doing this and I'm grateful for the memories we have created but we decided it is time to call it quits. It does get pretty pricy and we have seen the pounds that come from eating fast food every week! So this is our farewell to Taco Bell Monday thank you for the yummy gordita crunches and cheesy double burritos. The Pepsi when we a need a pick-me-up and the pink lemonade ever other time! We had a good run and our grateful for the memories!

June & July Updates!

I seriously am horrible at updating this thing! So here is a quick recap of the past few weeks. My birthday was the first part of June. I woke up and got ready and went and got a pedicure and then Justin took me to Factory Outlet Mall (The old Bellz mall) and let me pick out a new coach purse. Probably my last one for awhile since I will be trading my purse in for a diaper bag! And later that night we met my whole family at Fuddruckers for dinner to celebrate mine and my nephew Stryder's birthday. It was a nice, relaxing day which is what I wanted! The rest of June wasn't that exciting just worked a lot.

For the 4th of July we went up to the cabin and enjoy a nice long weekend up there! Me and Justin didn't leave until Saturday night but we stayed until Tuesday and it was so nice to get away! We spent the weekend with Justin's parents, his aunt and uncle, and 3 cousins. We had a lot of fun and Sam enjoyed every minute of it up there! She loves being able to just run around and be free!

As far as the pregnancy goes I am now 18 weeks along and I'm finally having more good days then bad! I still get sick and nauseous for sure if I don't keep my stomach full but it is getting better. I am definitely getting a belly and no longer fit in most of my regular shorts and pants! I have found a love for skirts and flowy dresses, they are the most comfortable! But we are getting way excited cause next week we have our ultrasound appointment and as long as baby is cooperating we will find out if its a boy or girl! I will definitely post that once we find out!

Well I have decided that me and Justin love adventures and sometimes our adventures mix into one, big, crazy adventure! Like I said in previous posts me and Justin decided to get a puppy. We have been wanting one for quite some time and felt like now was as good of a time as any to do it! Well, a week before we went and picked up our puppy from Arizona we started another adventure and I found out that I'M PREGNANT! We are so so excited, we just didn't think we would be training a puppy and be dealing with morning or rather 24/7 sickness all at the same time! It has definitely been a challenge and there has been days where the pregnancy hormones are at a high and the tears of being overwhelmed have flowed like crazy! (Today being one of those days) But we couldn't be more excited!

Sam(Samantha) our puppy has actually done pretty good! She is about 12 weeks now and she sleeps through the night (except last night!) She is pretty much house broken minus the few accidents here and there when we stop watching her for like 2.5 seconds, she doesn't completely hate her crate, and she does so good on our walks and she knows mine and Justin's voice and kinda listens to us. Vizsla's our high energy dogs so we have gotten on a schedule with her and every morning and every night before she gets fed we take her on walks. This has been helpful to me cause it keeps me working out! She has been a good dog so far but there might be a little jealousy when the baby comes though! (I will post pictures on my next blog they are all still on the camera)

As far as the pregnancy goes, well its going. I am 11 weeks and praying that in the next week or two this sickness goes away! I'm sure there are woman out there that have it worse then I do but I have gotten to the point where I feel like I constantly have to eat so my stomach doesn't get empty and I throw up about 2-3 times a day. I haven't gotten on the nausea medications or anything but if this doesn't go away soon I will be definitely talking to my doctor about that one. My sense of smell has been a challenge as well! Sometimes I can't even stand the smell of the dog so poor Justin has been taking care of her a lot lately! You really don't realize the crazy changes your body goes through until you experience it first hand! It has definitely been a new adventure for me and Justin but we are looking forward to this little miracle and all the blessings that come with it!

Here is the poem that we used to tell our parents! We waited until I had at least one doctors appointment and it was close enough to Mother's Day we decided to wait and tell our families then. We got each of them 2 balloons, one pink and one blue and attached this poem to it. Justin's parent had to read some of the poem before they figured it out, my family saw the balloons and knew! (And PS I didn't write the poem I found it)

I do not have a face to see,  

Or put inside a frame.

I do not have soft cheeks to kiss;  

I don't yet have a name.   

You can't hold my tiny hands,  

Nor whisper in my ear.  

It's still too soon to sing a song,

Blogging Time

It has been a couple of busy months for us Lefler's (even though I don't feel like I have done much!) Me and Justin have been both working a lot so it feels like not a whole lot has been getting done but we are finding sometime to do housework, and play! Justin has been working very diligently in our backyard trying to get it done and ready for our puppy! He has it all cleared and the forms done to pour the patio but that is it so far. I have lots of pictures of the progress and as soon as it is all done I will do a post on the backyard transformation. As for me, I have been staying very busy with work and my church calling in scouts. Lately all I do is work so many projects have been put on the back burner for months. The house decorating is slowing coming along and maybe one day I will get a little more crafty and get lots of these projects done! Between all the work we have been able to find a few moments of fun! We have gone on a few hikes and have taken lots of Sunday walks together. A couple of weeks ago we went and saw Aaron Lewis of Staind in concert! It was amazing! It was Justin's valentine's day present and he absolutely loved it! It was a great concert and I would definitely see him again! And last weekend I had the opportunity to go up to Salt Lake and have a reunion with my roommates from Snow College! It was a blast!! It was so fun seeing all of them again! Some married, some married with kids, some just home from missions. It was so awesome! I love those girls! And I really wish we all lived closer! They really our some of my closest girlfriends now and I am so blessed to have meet them and lived with them in good ole C4! And thanks to my sweet sister Taryn for going up with me and making the drive way more enjoyable! Talking for 6 hours straight with your sister is the best! I love you T! But that is the wrap up of what has been going on in the Life of the Lefler's. Blog Overload!!

So life has been crazy busy and I have been neglecting my blog! But here is a recap of what has been going on in our lives from my last post to now...
- The first part of December my parents took my whole family to Disneyland for our Christmas present. Me and Justin went down a day early and left a day early then everyone else cause Justin had to get back for a test for the police dept but overall it was a great trip! We made some great memories and can't wait to go again!
- Like I mentioned before Justin is in the process of testing for the police dept. It has been pretty good so far and we are just hoping that good things will come of it.
- We had a great Christmas as always this year. It was our first Christmas in our new house and it was so nice! We got Christmas lights up on the house and our cute little tree. (which we decided we need a bigger tree) Justin got me a new stereo for my car, my own pocket knife, and clothes. I got Justin some new clothes, some gun stuff, and a couple movies. We spent time with both my family and Justin's and it was so fun!
- After some changes were made in ward boundaries in our Stake, Justin and I got called as Cubmasters! I won't lie I was not thrilled about this calling at all. It has been completely out of my element but I am SLOWLY learning and trying to figure it all out. I just keep telling myself that Heavenly Father has put us here for a reason and it will all work out. And I'm sure I will grow to love this calling.
- Work has kept us crazy busy. We definitely have been blessed with our jobs right now. I have been moved to front office full-time and I am really enjoying it. I pretty much have been promoted to assistant office manager. Luckily I love my job cause I feel like I am there all the time! Justin is still plugging away at the gun shop. Business has been up and down but gratefully he is still working. We have been so busy with work that not a whole lot has been done with our house or backyard. Hopefully we will get around to it soon cause we are still planning on getting a dog!
That's pretty much all that has been going on around here. We are enjoying life and are so incredibly blessed with everything that we have. My goal is to find more time to update this blog! We will see how that goes!

November Wrap Up

November has been kinda a busy month for us. We started the month off with a trip to Arizona to visit our best friends Ryan and Corrie. They were blessing their baby Preston and Justin was asked to be in the circle so we made the trip to Mesa for the weekend. It was a nice little getaway and we had so much fun catching up with Ryan's family and seeing Ryan and Corrie. Ryan did an amazing job with the blessing and they are such good parents! And they are pretty lucky to have such a sweet baby. Preston is such a good baby. It makes me almost want to have one of my own! Almost ;)

While we were down in Arizona we visited a Vizsla breeder and went and looked at puppies. Justin got in contact with this sweet old lady through the AKC and she let us come and meet her and play with her dogs. I went with the mindset that we are just going to look and we are not getting one yet especially because they are pricey little dogs but the minute I saw them I wanted one! They are adorable! If you haven't heard of Vizslas they are a hunting dog (we don't hunt though) they are around the size of a Lab when the are full grown but more of an athletic build. They are also odor-less! Yes odor-less! They don't have that dog smell! Vizslas make great family dogs and are friendly and eager to please! So after seeing these cute things we came home and talked about it and put a deposit down for a puppy in a liter that is born any day now. We will being getting our puppy the end of January and we are way excited!

And finally this year for Thanksgiving we spent most of our time with Justin's family. My in-laws always host dinner at their house and this year pretty much everyone came. We had about 20 people for dinner and then more of the family came over later that night for dessert! It was a full house but a good time as always! We did break away for a little bit and went over to my Aunt and Uncles where my family was for dessert and some crazy games with the kiddos! I might have gotten a little too competitive with the colors game but it was all good fun! I am so grateful that we have so many family members near by to be able to celebrate the Holidays with them! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving and a great November overall and I'm looking forward to a Very Merry Christmas!!

I Love my Life

Lately I haven't had the most positive attitude that I have been striving for and I have been letting silly little things stress me out. Well after this weekend I am so grateful for my life and for my sweet husband. Nothing special or extravagant happened just simple little things that made me smile and realize that the silly things that stressed me out are not worth the stress. Me and Justin spent a lot of time this weekend just the two of us talking and enjoying each others company and it made me realize how lucky I am for the life I have and the blessings that I receive each and every day. I love my amazing husband and his ability to make me laugh when I don't even want to smile and how he's always there eager to listen to what I have to say how ever silly or stupid it may be! I love that simple little things can make life better.

Camping Trip and Labor Day

So a couple weeks ago me and Justin decided that we wanted to go camping. We were planning on just going up to Mt. Charleston but there were no sites available to reserve so we decided to go up to Pine Valley, Ut which is just outside of St. George. It was so much fun! We got there pretty late friday night and just got our tent set up and went to bed. A few hours later we woke up to rain so it was a good thing we got there when we did! Then saturday we went hiking and exploring and had amazing steaks over the fire for dinner! Justin did a great job with the cooking! Sunday we got up and pretty much just packed up and left but it was a much needed break! Here's a couple of pictures from the weekend.

Then we just got back from the cabin for the weekend and it was amazing! We went hiking in Bryce Canyon and went on a lot of quad rides! We also tried making churros over the fire instead of smores. It was a good attempt but smores are way better! It was so nice getting to escape to the mountains two weekends in a row! Unfortunately I forgot our camera this weekend and we attempted to buy this little digital camera thing at Smiths in Cedar but it took horrible pictures so sadly I don't have any pictures from this weekend!! Which is too bad cause it was absolutely beautiful! Oh well next time!

Taylor Swift - Mine

So I saw this video for the first time a couple of days ago and I had to share it. I am a big fan of Taylor Swift and think she is adorable! When I saw this video and heard the song it made me think of something me and Justin heard when we were on our little stay-cay at GVR. We were coming back to our hotel room and walked by two ladies talking and I heard lady1 say "Well do you love him?" Lady2 responded "well yeah but I don't know if I want to marry him" Lady1"Why not?" Lady2" Cause everyone gets a divorce." That's all I heard as we walked away but it stuck with me. The world has such distorted views of marriage and love and all too often people just say this too hard and give up. I have learned from my past two years of marriage that it is not always a walk in the park and things can get hard but we can't just throw in the towel. We have to make it through those hard times to have our happily ever after. I am so thankful for my husband and his love and support and willingness to stick by me through the thick and thin. And I am so grateful to have the knowledge of the gospel and to know that I will be with my husband forever. He is definitely the best thing that's ever been mine.

So about a month ago my parents picked up 2 unfinished nightstands/dressers from Ikea. Justin is not a fan of Ikea cause he thinks everything there is cheap and too modern for him but he liked the idea of being able to stain and put together these nightstands himself. So after many trips to Lowes and about 2 weeks to finish them we have 2 very nice looking nightstands and extra storage for our bedroom! Justin did such a good job! I love how they turned out! Last week on the 9th me and Justin celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary! It is crazy to think that it has already been 2 years! It has definetly been the best two years of my life though! I am so grateful to my wonderful husband who takes good care of me, makes me laugh, loves me and supports me! He is always telling me how lucky he is to have me, but the secret is, I'm the lucky one! He came into my life at very interesting time and had to put up a fight to get me but boy did he win and I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for putting him into my life at the time he did! I am grateful for temple marriages and to know that our crazy adventure is going to go on forever! I love him so much and am so excited for many more anniversaries and what life has in store for us!

So this year for my birthday I told Justin all I wanted was to go to a nice dinner and I wanted a new stove for our kitchen! We desperately needed one! Well Justin went above and beyond! He told me that I was not going to get a stupid stove for my birthday! So my cute husband took me to Texas De Brazil for my birthday dinner! It was amazing as always and he bought me a new purse!! Justin did a good job this year and a week ago I got my new stove too!!

May Update #2

So I realized that in my last post I didn't mention going to Supercross the first weekend in May! How could I forget that?!! Well as always we had a blast! This year we only made it to the race because of work but we still had a great time and great seats as always! Of course my man Ryan Dungey won the whole Championship as well as the race that night so it was pretty awesome! We had lots of fun dealing with crazy drunks, annoying chicks who like Chad Reed(eww!) and bare bums! Check out a few pictures from our fun fun night! I can't wait till next year!!

May Updates

So I'm finally updating my blog! Life has been a little crazy! Me and Justin moved into our house the second week of May. We have been in the process of unpacking and organizing ever since then! It has been kind of overwhelming being homeowners and the long to do list for the house but my in-laws and my parents have helped us out so much with the transition. And slowly but surely we are making our house feel like a home and I absolutely love it! Sooner or later I'll get some more pictures up of the house.
Well through all of the moving and unpacking me and Justin have both been staying busy with work. I'm still working 10 hour days and staying very very busy. Justin is still loving his job! I keep having to remind him that we have a mortgage to pay and he can't keep buying gun stuff.
Well with all the craziness we were able to get away for Memorial Day weekend and go up to Utah to see Justin's cousin who just came home from his mission. It was a fun weekend with the family and even more fun because I got to go to lunch with some of my Snow College roommates! It was so fun to see Carli, Brittany, Kenzie, and Kenzie's cute little girl Hadlie! We had a great time reminiscing and catching up and I can't wait until we can get everyone together again! So I was going to wait until we had keys in hand to blog about this just because we have had some problems with this house but I just couldn't wait anymore!! We are buying this house!

We are so excited to have a place of our own! We have been renting a townhouse and after waking up to garage bands playing at 2:00 am, the crazy wind tunnels created between the backyards and feeling like our window was going to be blown out, neighbors having parties in their backyard to all hours of the night, and listening to other neighbors have an argument (which the guy was totally lying to the chick and he totally cheated and on Valentine's Day of all days!) we are so ready to move!! Hopefully we will hear in the next couple days that everything is finalized with the loan and then all we have to do is sign more papers and get the keys! Yah!! We can not wait to have a backyard and to have plenty of room for our family to start growing! ;) Now to the annoying part...packing!

So I've been a blogging slacker! But life has been crazy, busy and I haven't had a lot of time to get on here and update about our lives! Well Justin has been trying to stay busy at work. Business has gone up and down but he is one of their top sellers and has been given more responsibilities. He still loves his job and I have to keep reminding him that he can't turn around and spend his entire paycheck at work. We have been blessed with some opportunities that have come up for Justin to get into a more stable job and career but I'll go into more detail with those when more information develops.

Well I'm still working at Dr. Stoker's office and have been blessed with a very stable job in this rocky economy. Justin calls me his 'Sugar Mama' cause I work so much! We have started making changes in the office and now I have to be at work at 6:45 every morning! That has been a challenge for me cause I love my sleep and it does make for a long day but I have been managing pretty well! But long days equal more hours and more money! And obviously they have noticed my hard work because I was given a raise this week! Which is a great blessing because me and Justin are trying to buy a house! We got an offer accepted on one but we have ran into some big road blocks so we are trying to get it worked out! In the mean time we are still out looking at other homes in case this one doesn't work out but regardless we are going to buy a house sometime soon! And I'm so excited and looking forward to decorating and having room to start a family! (In the far future of course!) But thats basically what we have been up to the last few months! And with all our craziness we haven't had a lot of time to enjoy this wonderful weather and the great outdoors but we did get a chance this past wednesday morning to go out on a jeep ride with our friend Jansen! It was much needed and a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures of the fun trip! Enjoy!

Supercross Season Has Started!!

So Supercross season has started and I am so excited! The first race was last weekend and already it has been a crazy surprising season. The top contenders are struggling big time with injuries and bad crashes and my favorite racer Ryan Dungey who is a rookie to the 450 class is taking charge! He got second place in the first race and won yesterdays race. He's the man! So basically besides church, my Sundays will be full of race action! Yah for Supercross and I can't wait for the finals here in Vegas!!!

Christmas 2009

This year me and Justin had a eventful yet wonderful Christmas! We spoiled each other and our families spoiled us too! Christmas Eve we went over to Justin's aunt and uncles house for soup, christmas carols, and games! Its always fun to get together with all of his family! Then christmas morning we got up and opened presents! Of course we went to Disneyland as a part of my christmas present and for Justin's christmas present I let him buy a new gun. A Springfield 1911 to be exact! Justin spoiled me a little more with new clothes, a purse, and my surprise gift which was a set of Beauty and the Beast christmas ornaments by Jim Shore!

Then we went over to my aunt and uncles house for our traditional christmas breakfast! (My favorite!!) It was a little bittersweet with Grandma not being there but we all made it through and enjoyed being together as a family! Then me and Justin went home got ready and went over to his parents house to open presents. Justin got a tool set, I got a new makeup bag, some awesome necklaces that my father in law made, and we both got gift cards to the mall, a magazine rack and some movies! We then went over to Justin's Aunt Carol and Uncle Shane's house for christmas lunch. We all had a chance to talk to David, Justin's cousin who is on his mission in Argentina!

Then finally that night we headed over to my parents house for dinner and presents with my sisters and their families! We had a great time and loved watching the kids get so excited over their presents! My parents got me and Justin a much needed printer as well as some other neat stuff! All in all it was a wonderful day! We enjoyed the time with family and being able to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Me and Justin are looking forward to the new year. We hope it brings many new and exciting adventures to our lives and yours too! Happy 2010!!

So last weekend Justin took me to Disneyland as a part of my christmas! We left Friday night and went to the park saturday and sunday! It was so fun! Saturday morning we got up and it was rainy and gloomy. So we bundled up and headed to the park. And because of the rain we hit up all the rides we wanted in about an hour and a half! It was awesome! As the day went on we got wet, the rain came harder and my feet were soaked! Justin came up with this brilliant idea to buy socks and get 2 small bags and put on the dry socks then the bags and then put my tennis shoes on, trying to make my shoes more waterproof. It worked for a little while but by the time we were getting ready to leave my feet were getting wet again! When we got back to the hotel I took my shoes off and the entire inside of my shoes was dyed by the design on the bags! So I will now forever have Disneyland imprinted in my shoes! But even with the rain all day Saturday we had so much fun and we didn't let it rain on our parade!! Then on sunday we had much better weather and bigger crowds but we met up with my parents and Trevor and enjoyed the day with them! We had so much fun and I'm so grateful for my sweet husband for taking me to the happiest place on earth!!

Thanksgiving

So this year for Thanksgiving we juggled back and forth between our families. Our day started off with Justin waking up and going shooting with the guys from work while I stayed home. We then went to my Grandpa's house and had Thanksgiving lunch with my parents and my aunt and uncle and cousins. It was a very touching and we all had a few tears since it was our first Thanksgiving without Grandma. I think she looked down on our family and thought we did a good job! And then we went over to Justin's parents house for Thanksgiving dinner with his side of the family. We had a delicious meal as always and had fun visiting with everyone! Then after all of that we went over to my parent's house and did dessert with my sisters and their families! All in all it was a lot of fun even with the bouncing all over the place. And I have to say that I am very thankful for my wonderful family and having them all so close. And I am so very grateful for my wonderful husband and all that he does for me. Life would not be complete without him. He makes me laugh, he makes me cry(in a good way of course!), he brings out the silly, real me and makes life a big adventure! I love him more and more everyday! So as the holiday season continues on I hope we all remember the things we are grateful for and the reason for the season!

Well it has been a while since I have updated you all on the life of the Lefler's. Well, I am still working like crazy at the dental office, but we have changed our hours in hopes to get more business. So we are now working Wednesday evenings and all Friday mornings as well as our other regular days too! I've been getting a little worn out but I keep reminding myself that I am so grateful that I have a job! Justin is still working at the gun shop but just like so many other businesses they have slowed down quite a bit so he is now only working 4 days a week. But even though his hours were cut his boss noticed how well he has been doing and gave him a raise! So we are so so grateful for that! The Lord works in mysterious ways doesn't he?
Justin and I have also been talking a lot about careers and what Justin is going to do. He is still really interested in becoming a firefighter and got his application in with the City of Las Vegas. They are going to be recruiting in 2010 so hopefully something will come of that. But Justin has also been seriously thinking about becoming a cop. I know, I know, there are more dangers of being a police officer but the more that we talk about it, the more we both feel good about it. So Justin filled out interest cards for the City of Henderson and Metro and as soon as they are hiring he will be informed. As far as my career path I was going to school to be a teacher but now I'm not too sure if that's what I want to do. It's hard growing up and making such huge decisions that affect the future! And especially in this economy, I think it is so important to get an education even if it's just for a fall back plan you know what I mean? Hopefully I can find something I really love to do and I can make a career out of it! Until then we will just keep moving forward!!

So I've decided that I have been a little less than grateful for the things in my life. I have been complaining about working a lot, about not sleeping well and being tired all the time and just some other things! And some events in our lives have recently made me realize that I need to be so grateful for the things that I do have; a job that pays well and has taught me a lot, a husband who loves me unconditionally and takes care of me, a family who loves me and is a joy to be around, and a love of my Heavenly Father and the many blessings that I have enriched my life. Life can be rough and I know things won't always be easy! But it is always good to remind myself of the love that surrounds me and that I just need to take it one day at a time!

So for those of you who don't know I am a huge One Tree Hill fan! And tonight was the season premiere. However, Lucas and Peyton are no longer on the show. They were my favorite on the show and obviously I wanted to see how they explained them leaving, so I watched the show tonight and I am a little ticked cause they don't explain it at all! They just mention them briefly and them leaving but no reason why! And they brought all these new characters in and just threw them in the show like they have been there forever. It was just kind of weird. But even though I'm not too sure about this new OTH without Lucas and Peyton I will continue to watch and hopefully it will be good. And if Nathan really did sleep with that girl I definitely will have to see how that plays out....

Labor Day Weekend!

So we had the chance to go up the cabin for a couple of days during Labor Day weekend. Our best friend's The Michaelson's were able to come up with us and we had a blast! We pretty much rode quads the whole time we were up there but it was so much fun! We rode over to Mammoth Cave and Justin and Ryan raced each other the entire time while me and Corrie held on for dear life. We were completely covered in dust and dirt but it was so fun. Then the next day we went on a nice long ride exploring new trails. We went to Strawberry Point which is a beautiful lookout, we went up a massive hill and almost didn't make it and we were on a lot of trails that you could tell hadn't been ridden on very much. We ended up finding the right trails and had a lot of fun on our crazy adventure! It was a much needed weekend and we really enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully soon we can get Ryan and Corrie back up there with us and have another crazy, fun weekend! Here are some pictures from the weekend!

Other then our fun weekend we haven't done much. Justin is still loving his job which has been a blessing for us. We also just got called to be the 14-15 year old Sunday School teachers. Today was our first lesson and it was pretty interesting. I think we are going to like it, we just need to get these teenagers talking more. You think it would be easy but not really. Also I cut my hair! I cut about four inches off! Justin wasn't to sure cause he loves my long hair but I think its growing on him! I'll post a picture of my cute "do" soon! Just a Quick Update!

So its been a couple of weeks since I have blogged so I thought I would do a quick update! So Justin has started a new job...again! But he absolutely loves it! He is working in a gun store! The perfect place for him, I know! It is a much better atmosphere then his last job and the guys he works with are great! He is learning a lot and seems to be enjoying life a little more, so no complaints from me! I am still tugging away at the dental office but I sure do love it! So work has been going well for both us!
This summer me and Justin have learned how wonderful air conditioning is and how much it sucks when it doesn't work! Since the last week of July our ac has gone out 3 times in our townhouse! Pretty freakin ridiculous I know! And because we are renting and the owner has a home warranty we had to use the company that they provided! The first time it broke it was the capacitor that started the compressor that went out or something like that. Then the second time was a fuse on the circuit board. And the third time we checked the fuse ourselves and learned that the idiot repair man just jimmy-rigged the thing because the circuit board was bad but he didn't want to fix it. So because of that it completely blew the circuit board and the transformer! Between all these times we were out of our place for 12 days total! Pretty dumb but it is fixed now and hopefully it will stay that way!
Sorry no pictures this blog but I'm sure there will be plenty to come with nicer weather. Nicer weather means more hiking, biking, and all other sorts of outdoorsy stuff! I can't wait!!!

This past weekend me and Justin celebrated our One year wedding anniversary! I told Justin that I wanted to be surprised about what we did and he did such a good job! Friday morning I went to work and came home and Justin had me make two piles of clothes; one set for going to the cabin or doing outdoorsy things and one pile of nicer clothes and swimsuits. So he packed my bag for me and off we went. All the hints he gave me were not even close to what we were doing but I figured it out when we got onto Lake Mead Pkwy. He took me out to Lake Las Vegas where we stayed on our wedding night! We went swimming and enjoy the relaxation. And the best part was dinner Saturday night! We went to Texas De Brazil out by Town Square! It was simply amazing! If you are a meat lover like we are this is the place for you! Its pretty much all you can eat beef, pork, chicken, and lamb! Guys come around with different types of meat on skewers and slice you off a piece of whatever you'd like! It was so so so good! And then to finish our wonderful weekend, on Sunday, which was our actual anniversary we went over to my parents house and ate a bite of our frozen wedding cake topper that my parents saved for us! Overall it was a wonderful weekend I just have to take a minute and thank my wonderful husband for being so thoughtful and planning such a wonderful anniversary. Justin I love you so much and I am so grateful for the past year and all that I have learned and how much our love has grown! You are such an amazing man with such a good heart and I am so lucky to have such a great guy in my life! I am looking forward to many more wonderful years together! I love you always and forever!

Me and Justin were able to go up there and enjoy a quick weekend with family. After having a dead battery on the way up there and me getting car sick we made it. Where do I begin to express the love that I have for such a wonderful, spiritual women?! I want you to know that love you oh so much and I am so grateful for your sweet spirit that has touched my life and so many others. You are an amazing women with so many wonderful talents that have helped inspired me and others who have been blest with your presence. I am sorry that you had to suffer for awhile with pain and agony because of this trial that Heavenly Father gave you. But if anyone could face it straight on it was you! You have a wonderful husband and children who stayed by your side and took such good care of you. But of course you already know that because I'm sure you felt their love surround you every day of your life.

As I have been blest to be on of your granddaughters and to have yours and grandpa's examples in my life, I have grown up knowing that you treat everyone with respect, you love unconditionally, and most importantly you always have a smile on your face. Your example has helped me grow so much in the gospel and has given me the strength to accept the fact that you are in a far better place now. And I am so grateful for the knowledge of the gospel to know that families can be together forever and that this is not the end. So grandma, Thank You! Thank you for giving me hope in a better world, faith to overcome trials, and showing me how to love so unconditionally! July Updates!

So I know I have been a slacker once again! But I'm here! We have been keeping ourselves busy with work and play. Over the 4th of July weekend we went up to the cabin for the coldest Fourth of July I have ever had! We watched fireworks over at Brianhead and it was so cold! I definitely was not expecting that and I also was not excepting the fireworks to be literally over my head about to fall on top of me! (okay not really) But the were right there and it was very load since we were in a canyon but they put on a really good show. All of our pictures are not zoomed in at all if that gives you an idea of how close we were!

Then last weekend we went back up to the cabin for Duck Creek Days! It was crazy busy up there but we found the funnest trails for quad riding and have lots of fun with our household of family! Justin's Grandparents, His Aunt Carol, Cousin Lindsey, Cousin Daniel and his wife Jenny, and of course us and Justin's parents were all in the cabin. Then his Uncle Doug and Aunt Deb and their four girls and 2 nieces and one granddaughter were all staying in their trailer! It was a lot of people but a lot of fun! Sadly the only pictures I got of this weekend were of Justin riding his 450 dirtbike up there! It was a really fun and much needed weekend.

Other than our trips to the cabin we have been keeping busy with work and having fun. We have started a tradition with our friends Ryan and Corrie and every tuesday we do dinner together! It has been a way fun tradition and has helped me learn to cook more meals! We usually end up playing a game or watching a movie or something too after dinner and we have had some intense games of phase 10 and Jenga!

On a sad note my grandma has been ill and in the hospital for over a month now. It has been a struggle for my family because it kind of came unexpected but she is hanging in there for now and I just want to say how much I love my Grandma Waters and how grateful I am for her example in my life!

Then over Memorial Day weekend Justin's best friend Ryan got married to darling Corrie. They are such a cute couple and the wedding was beautiful! We love these guys and have now started a weekly dinner tradition with them and it has been lots of fun!

Right after Ryan and Corrie's reception we headed up to Duck Creek to go to the cabin for the rest of the holiday weekend. It was so beautiful and me and Justin had lots of fun trying out our new camelbacks for hiking! We are going back up there for the 4th of July and we can't wait!

And finally the last weekend of May we went up to Lindon, Utah for Justin's cousin, Barretts farewell. It was a fun weekend, even if we wasted time at Lagoon. Sorry to those of you who think Lagoon is cool but multiple times I was afraid for my life! We were not fans but we had some good laughs! Barrett's Farewell talk was amazing. He did not sound like a future missionary but rather a RM! He is awesome and the people in Portugal are going to be blessed to have him there!

So with all this craziness during the month of May we also found a new place to live! We moved into a townhouse in Old Vegas Ranch and we love it! Its 2 bd. 2.5 bath with a 1 car garage and little backyard and we are renting it for the same price as our old 1 bd. apartment. We couldn't pass it up! It's in a good area and we are really close to our family! I would have pictures up but we kinda don't have furniture yet so the pictures would be kinda boring! But I'll see what I can do! But we have definitely been blessed with all of these wonderful things happening in our lives! OH! and Justin got a job. He is a laborer for a construction company doing road stripping and stuff. Its not his favorite but its a job so we're happy! Well I think this post has been long enough! Hope all is well and happy with you and your families! Enjoy the Summer!

The last month we have moved, had my mom's surprise party, been to the cabin, Ryan and Corrie got married, went to Utah for Justin's cousin's farewell, and Justin got a job!! SUPERCROSS 09

Last night me and Justin went to the Finals for Supercross at Sam Boyd Stadium! It was a blast! We went a little early and checked out the Pit Party where we got to see and meet some of the racers! I got my picture with Josh Grant who is a rookie to the 450 class and won the first main event of the season! They did the East/West shoot out race which consisted of the best lites class riders from each group! My favorite and my secret crush is Ryan Dungey! He was the Champion for the West Coast but came in a close 2nd to Christoph Pourcel the winner of the East in the shootout race last night! The championship was up for grabs between James Stewart and Chad Reed. Stewart was in the lead by 6 points so Chad Reed needed to step up his game last night if he wanted to win the Championship! Well he put up a dang good fight and past Stewart running him off the track a little! (some good racing right there!) But neither one of these champions could hang with Ryan Villopoto last night! Another rookie to the 450 class, he came out there and kicked butt! Winning the main event, making this season of Supercross start and end with Rookies winning! It was an awesome season and an awesome race last night! We are looking forward to the outdoors season to start the end of this month and for next year's Supercross season! And we will be there again next year for the Finals up close and personal with the dirt in our faces!!!

What we have been up to...

Well it has been awhile since I updated this thing! Sorry! We have been up to the usual work and school and playtime on the weekends of course! A couple of weeks ago we finally took the sand tires off the quads and went for a ride. We went out to this track that Justin and Ryan made when they were in high school and did a few laps and had lots of fun! Justin was rather impressed with my aggressiveness and the fact that I totally saved my self from crashing! It was a lot of fun!

We also have some of our friends getting married soon! Justin's BFF Ryan is getting married to dang cute Corrie on May 23. They needed someone to take their engagement pictures so Justin did it for them and then I did my magic and made them all cute! We are way excited for them and I'm so glad their pictures turned out so cute! What an adorable couple right?

We also went to Red Rock again last weekend and went hiking out there. It was a little chilly and it started to hail on us towards the end of the hike but it was fun! We haven't uploaded those pictures yet but when I do I'll post them! Same with Easter! We had fun with our nieces and nephews and the annual easter egg hunt with my family. When then spent the rest of the evening with Justin's family playing games and eating lots of yummy food! It was a wonderful Easter and I hope everyone else's was just as great! I'll post more pictures and stuff later!

Wisdom Teeth...

So I got my wisdom teeth out last friday; something I have been meaning to do for awhile. Well I finally got around to it and it was not fun! I was given Lortab to take afterwards for the pain. That afternoon I was throwing up for about 4 hours every ten minutes or so! It was horrible but I am so grateful for my mommy taking care of me since Justin had a clinical for school he had to go do. But overall the pain wasn't that bad, the annoying thing is my jaw is still really tight and I can't open it very far. And I really want a a dang cheeseburger! But I have to say the worst part of it all is that I can't open my mouth wide enough to brush my back molars and they feel fuzzy! I know that sounds disgusting but I now know what it would be like if I didn't brush my teeth for a week! I'm so grateful for my sonicare toothbrush!

More Adventures

So this past weekend me and Justin went on another hike; this time to the Hot Springs by Hoover Dam. We hiked all the way down to the river. Its a very pretty hike and way fun too just enjoy the beautiful weather. It took us just over 5 hours to get down there and back so needless to say the next day I was very sore. But we have had a lot of fun being able to spend so much time together lately. Justin hasn't found a job yet but we are doing pretty good still. He is focusing on school and will start looking more seriously when the semester is over. I am still working for Dr. Stoker and I am really enjoying it. It has been a blessing in our lives to say the least. We are also thinking about getting a puppy. Justin wants a dog so bad even though we really don't have the money or means for a dog we are still dreaming. And if I let Justin have his way in a few months you will all probably see pictures of our new puppy. I'll keep you all posted. But other than that not too much new and exciting things in our lives. We are just taking things one day at a time and enjoying all the moments that make life so wonderful.

... when I have the weekends off and Justin doesn't have a job! Yeah Justin got laid off last week like so many other people in this country because of this dang economy. Not that many people are in need of rock crushers apparently. So Justin filed for unemployment and is just doing school and kinda looking for a job but we might just stick it out till the end of the semester since its over in a couple of months. The job loss has been sort of a blessing cause he can study a lot more but we have a lot less money which sucks! But we are doing fine! Just keeping the faith! But since we have more free time together we went to Red Rock on Saturday and hiked. It was a lot fun cause there are a ton of big boulders and stuff and you can pretty much just free climb where ever and that is what we did. Justin has definitely turned me into an outdoors girl. I'm totally loving it! I enjoy our adventures together and while we have this extra free time I'm sure their will be more to come. I'll keep you all posted on our new adventures and everything else that happens in our crazy lives!

Valentine's and Cabin Trip

So last weekend me and Justin went to the cabin. It was so nice to get away for the weekend and try to ignore all of the craziness in our lives. We left on Friday and opened the cabin up and Justin's parents followed on Saturday morning. We shoveled lots of snow and went sledding and had a wonderful time! I love it up there and I'm so grateful that we have the opportunity to go up there and have a wonderful place to stay.
For Valentine's Day Justin got me these beautiful flowers and the new Fray CD. I let him buy a new watch for school/work. We then went to Olive Garden for dinner with everyone else and their mom! But it was nice.

1. I am totally addicted to the t.v. show One Tree Hill and secretly want to go to Willmington, NC and stalk the actors.

2. I HATE Salad. And yes I have tried it. I have tried it everytime I have gone to Olive Garden and I still do not like it.

3. And on the a similar topic I don't like many vegetables at all. And very few fruits. Yes I know everyone needs their fruits and veggies but whatever.

4. I am a very organized person and like things in a neat and tidy order.

5. I work at a Dental office and yet I have cavities. Yeah I'm working on getting that fixed.

6. My husband has converted me to Motocross and Supercross and I never want to miss a race. Ryan Dungey is my pick for the West Coast Lites and anyone besides James Stewart for the main.

7. I want my own dirt bike and my husband thinks thats so cool.

8. I played Basketball in High School, well I was the bench warmer on the team! And I did a mighty fine job!

9. I love my family very much and love spending time with them.

10. I have this weird obsession with baby names and have a lot of ideas even though we are not planning on any kids for awhile and I don't want that many either.

11. Me and Justin have gone to Taco Bell every monday night since we have been married. It has become our version of FHE and we plan on keeping it up.

12. I have a bad habit of biting my nails and Justin is always smacking my hands away from my face.

13. I love fashion and clothes and secretly have wanted to design my own clothes.

14. I however can not sew or draw so therefore I will keep dreaming about #13.

15. I get easily distracted if I'm on the phone and the TV is on. I'm pretty sure it drives Justin nuts.

16. Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth and sometimes they start letting people in before the park is actually opened and stop them at the end of Main Street and then they play the music over the PA and the cool intro to Welcome everyone and officially open the Park and I cry everytime I hear it.

17. I have a purse fetish just like my sisters! We all get it from our Mother! She has taught us well.

18. I am a Lazy person and I only work out when I have to!

19. I LOVE to Sleep! It is my number one past time! I honestly need at least 8 hours a night or I'm grouchy.

20. In High School I was Class President Freshman through Junior year and Student Body President my Senior year and also Homecoming Queen. Yeah I'm not boasting at all! ;)

21. I want my kids to either have my hair or my eyes. Justin just laughs at me everytime I say this but its true. I want little girls with dark curly hair.

22. I Love to Dance and don't do it enough anymore.

23. I get on these cleaning fixes where I just clean everything in sight and don't sit down until it is all done. And Justin will try to talk to me and help and I would rather do it myself.

24. I bought a $90 pair of jeans. I know it sounds ridiculous but first I had a gift card and second I got them at the Buckle where they do girl jeans by waist and inseam which for a tall skinny girl like me is wonderful!!

25. My husband can always make me laugh and even when I'm trying to be mad at him he always melts me with his cute smile!! I just love him!

Facebook is not my Friend!

So I am sure most of you are familiar with the social network Facebook. Well like so many I joined the band wagon and started a facebook almost three years ago. I was catching up with high school friends, college buddies, and even some old teachers and advisors. However, recently I was informed that my account was disabled because I violated the Terms of Use. I thought to myself how can this be? I didn't post any nudy pictures up, or pretend I was someone else, or offend anyone to the point that they would report me so I emailed facebook back and told them that my account was disabled by mistake because I have not violated the terms. Well after a week of waiting to hear back I received an email this morning telling me that they investigated my case and I am no longer allowed to use Facebook. And of course for safety reasons they could not tell me why I was kicked off. I honestly am a little ticked off. I'll ever did was catch up with old friends post pictures and see what others were up to. Now I have lost contact with a lot of people that I normally did not talk to because I violated the Terms of Use. So now all my focus will be on my blog. (Unless i kicked off of this thing too now) And to all those who use facebook you probably should be careful cause one day Facebook might decide that they don't want to be your friend anymore.

Update and First Date!

It has been a couple weeks since I have updated this so I thought I'd leave a quick little note while I have some time. I am keeping myself busy with work and all the household chores while Justin has been stressing out. He started school two weeks ago and is realizing fast that he is not going to have a life besides school and work. The EMT program is pretty tough but he has impressed me with his determination to study and do well. He has to get an 80% or better to continue in the program and his first quiz he got a 90%! I was so relieved! Hopefully he can keep it up! So besides the business of school and work we are doing so good! We have Saturdays off together so we have had fun spending time together!

Another exciting thing is that a year ago today me and Justin had our first official date. He took me to Bahama Breeze for dinner and then we went and raced go-carts which I was way bad at cause they were fast and scary. I kept getting the blue flag that meant pull over so people can pass you! But Justin was so sweet and told me I did great! He then took me to watch The Fountains at Bellagio and we skipped (well I skipped) across Las Vegas Blvd. and did lots of fun stuff! Obviously he did a great job and impressed me because after that night we were inseparable. I can't believe it has been a year already but at the same time it feels like we have been together for more than that! It has been a wonderful year and I am so excited for more years to come with my sweetheart! I love you baby!

Fun Times for the New Year!

This year has already been full of fun for me and Justin! A couple of weeks ago we went to Dumont Dunes. It was my first time riding the dunes and it was a blast! I have been officially converted to the off-roading world! We went for just the day and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the small crowds out there!

Also the supercross season has started and so far we haven't missed a race. I have gotten so into it! I love watching the races and I am doing a great

job of remembering the racers names and understanding the supercross lingo. I could not tell you who is playing in the superbowl but I can tell you who is leading in the lites and the main supercross races so far! And I am so excited to go to the finals which is here in Vegas!

Another fun thing that we have done is just this past friday we went and saw one of my most favorite bands, Secondhand Serenade! Me, Justin, my sister Taryn, and her husband Ben all went and it was a great concert! "Your Call" by Secondhand was our wedding song so I was so excited to go and hear it done live! It was amazing! It was definitely a fun night! And then last night Justin and his best friend Ryan decided to take me and Corrie (Ryans girlfriend) On a night hike up "their mountain"I'll just say that it was definitely intense and not my favorite thing to do. In fact I did not like it at all. It was not a real hiking trail, more like a path made by big horn sheep. Yeah we got all the way up there had a fire and then made our way back down! Just more adventures! But we are enjoying our time together and loving the new year.

Now that school is starting things are going to get a little more stressful so hopefully we will manage. Justin is enjoying his new job and is just trying to prepare himself for a lot of studying and time management to get everything done! I know he will do just fine! I will keep you all posted with our new adventures and our every day dealings of life!

2008: What a GREAT Year!

As this year comes to an end I want to take a minute and reflect on the wonderful blessings that have come from this great year. This year started out with me meeting my wonderful husband at a bonfire in the backyard of a friends house. I definitely was not looking for love that night but boy did I find it. From that moment on both me and Justin knew that there was something there it just took me a lot longer to accept it because I had other plans for my future. Throughout all of this I was still going to school at Nevada State and working at Deseret Book. At the end of April I came to my senses and said yes when Justin proposed to me at our own little bonfire in the desert. We were married August 9th in the beautiful Las Vegas Temple and I couldn't be happier. We spent a week in Hawaii and did not want to leave but we both had school this past semester and that was definitely a challenge but we made it through the semester and I am now going to take a break and let Justin go full time.

It has been so fun getting to know each others families as well.

Being an only child, Justin has had to get use to the chaos of nieces and nephews as well as getting use to having sisters and brother in laws. But I think he has adjusted

well. As long as Uncle Justin has his red jeep around I'm pretty sure the kids will still love him!! ;) I have loved the fact that Justin's family is so close to their extended family. We are always doing stuff with Aunts and Uncles and a whole lot of cousins. It has been so fun! We both love our big family so so much and our so grateful for the support that we have been given throughout our dating and marriage. Our wedding would not have been so perfect if it hadn't been for my wonderful daddy who takes such great care of me and my family. We truly have been blessed.

Another great thing that happened the end of this year is that we are finally living in a cute little apartment that has more walls than 4 and we both have found new jobs that seem to be going really well. Justin is working for Goodfellow Corp. doing all sorts of stuff. He just started working there so he is still a little overwhelmed but they are very flexible and are going to work around his busy school schedule next semester which is such a blessing. I have been working for Dr. Stoker for just over a month now and am enjoying it very much. I am learning a lot and only working 4 days a week has been wonderful! No complaints here!

We also had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by many loved ones. Me and Justin decided that we were only going to give each other two presents each since we are kinda poor but we both cheated are way around that rule. But we both got everything that we wanted and it was a great first Christmas together. We are looking forward to many more to come!

With all of this that has gone on in our lives I would be extremely ungrateful if I did not acknowledge my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing me with such a wonderful life. I am so grateful for everything and everyone in my life and I do not know where I would be without the Gospel and truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I am so grateful for temples and the blessings that are received there and the knowledge that I have to know that my family is going to be together forever. This has been one of the best years of my life and I thank all of you for being apart of it in one way, shape, or form. I look forward to the coming year and the adventures that lie ahead. Me and Justin wish you all a wonderful new year full of excitement, joy and love!

It's been awhile!

Sorry I have been a slacker with my blog! Things are finally starting to wind down and I feel like I can breath again. My new job at Dr. Stoker's office is going really well. I am learning a lot of new things and I love only working 4 days a week! This semester of school is officially over! I just finished my last final earlier today and I have never been so relieved before in my life. I am taking a break from school and letting Justin go full time and I think it is going to be a really good thing for us. Justin is still working at Ridenow selling dirt bikes but he is looking for something else. He has enjoyed being able to talk to people about something that he loves but he needs something that he can do and go to school as well. So wish us luck on that one!

We are now settled into our cute apartment! I have our christmas tree up and a few other fun little christmas decorations and I love it! I was just grateful that I had room to put up a christmas tree! I promise I will get some pictures up soon of our cute little place but for now I just wanted to give a little update! Good News!!

This past Monday was a really good day! Me and Justin decided that we needed to move so we went and looked at a few places. We looked last week and found one we liked but we wanted to look a little more! Well we settled on the first one we looked at last week and I was and am so excited! We signed the lease and moved in that night! It was beautiful! And then to top the day off I heard about a job from Justin's aunt so I went and filled out the application on Monday as well and I got a call back and started on Wednesday! I am working for Dr. Stoker at his dentist office assisting the hygienists. Its a lot of new information to learn but it is pretty interesting and I am catching on pretty quick! I work Monday thru Thursday and have the whole weekend off and I'm getting paid more than I was at Deseret Book as well as more hours which is nice. Plus I get to wear scrubs and I went and bought some today from the Katherine Heigl collection. Yeah she's from Grey's Anatomy and well I'm a fan! So things are looking good! Once I have my apt more organized and put together Ill post some pictures!!

So I am still looking for a new job which is getting very difficult because of this economy. A lot of other people are looking for jobs right now too and the places that are hiring have very little job stability so it is getting kind of frustrating! But my motivation... If I get a new job I get a new place to live!!! Right now me and Justin are living in this box behind this guys house. Its a studio apt (one room) meaning my bed is about 10 ft away from my fridge! It was supposed to be temporary but things happened and we have been here longer than expected. So a new job equals a better place to live! Wish me luck in finding something!!!

Sunday Drive...

On sunday after church Justin thought it would be fun to go on a sunday drive in the Jeep with our good friend Ryan and his girlfriend Korrie. Justin knew this cool off road trail that went from Knob Hill down to the River. So we set out on our little drive around 1:30. It was a beautiful drive out there a little long but we had a good time! We got down to the river and Justin knew of a better spot to go so as Justin went to turn around, mud starting flying up and before we knew it we were stuck! Justin tried and tried to get us out and we just started getting more and more stuck. We got out and looked at the jeep and the tires were sunk about halfway into the mud. Ryan tried pushing, we tried rocks under the tires and it wasn't working. We realized we were going to need some help. So we pulled out the trusty cell phone and realized we didn't have service of course!! We had to climb to the top of this mountain to get service that kept going in and out. Justin got a hold of his dad who luckily knew where we were at and he got a hold of Adam Justins cousin who had a truck and they came to rescue us. In the meantime Justin and Ryan started getting dirty trying to dig out the tires. Me and Korrie both had to come up with clever ways to go to the bathroom cause we couldn't hold it anymore. We even made a little fire on top of mountain to keep us warm and for a signal for Adam and Rod. They finally showed up at about 6pm. They tired pulling Justin out but the tow straps kept snapping. So finally after lots of digging and some pushing they got the Jeep out around 7:20pm. We finally headed home and were pratically laughing the entire way home because it was so funny! We almost thought we took the wrong road to which was icing on the cake! But we made it back safe and sound and overall our Sunday Drive became a Sunday Adventure!

Honeymoon

So I finally got a chance to get onto Justin's computer and to get some of our Honeymoon pictures. We went to Oahu, Hawaii for a week and it was simply amazing!

We stayed on Waikiki Beach and we did all the touristy things like the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbor, shopping at the International Marketplace, snorkeling, and even parasailing. We even made a special trip to do a session in the Laie Temple! (that was my favorite part) So here are some pictures from our fun trip and I can not wait to go back!!

So I'm totally looking for a new job. Something Full time and preferably some type of office job or something. I really do not want to work retail anymore. Especially with the Holidays coming up. Seriously, many people would think that Deseret Book wouldn't be bad cause everyone is LDS and nice and blah blah blah But let me tell you that is not always the case. We get angry last minute Christmas shoppers just like any other place and well I just really don't want to deal with that again! And I need more hours. Me and Justin have decided that I am going to postpone school and he is going to go full time next semester so hopefully he can get through the EMS program and get going on becoming a firefighter. So because of this decision I need a full time job. So if anyone knows of anything please let me know! Thanks!

Changes...

I know many of you probably sat down this past weekend and enjoyed conference just like I did. I must admit I did not get to see much because of work and falling asleep but I was able to hear President Monson's talk at the Sunday morning session and it was wonderful. He talked about how we all have changes in our lives and sometimes we don't want to deal with them and we let those changes and problems get in the way of enjoying life and enjoying the company around us. He said something along the lines of "don't let problems to be solved get in the way of a person to be loved" something close to that and he is so right. Me and Justin have been dealing with a lot of changes and issues since we have been married that we were not expecting and it has definitely be hard on both of us. We have found ourselves having stupid little arguments over silly things not because we are mad at eachother but mad at the situation we have been placed in. And I know many of you have probably been down a similar road and understand what I am talking about. But I know what President Monson said was true and that we should just enjoy life and be happy and to try not to let changes and problems get the best of us! With the Gospel in our lives there is no reason to think that we can not get through anything. The Church is true everybody and I am so grateful we have it here today! Yeah Life can be a tough road but it doesn't have to be the bumpest if we just try to enjoy the ride and hold on!

Procrastination

It is wednesday morning and for those of you who go to school at NSC or have taken online classes before you know that usually posts for discussions are due on wednesday. I have 3 online classes and I have yet to do any of my posts or even read or watch the material for them. I have been home all morning doing everything else I could possibly think of besides the dreaded homework. My bathroom is now clean, my bed is made, my laundry is almost done, shopping list made, and the best one is my blog is now all cute and decorative! I have to go to work in an hour and unfortunately I can't do my posts there anymore. So it looks like it's going to be a long night for me trying to get everything done by 11:59pm. And here I am now instead of reading or starting my posts I am on here talking about it but not doing it! I guess the moral of the story is...
Procrastination. its not a good thing.

So it has taken me awhile to get back on here to post because they changed over to the whole google account thing and I had forgot my password! But here is alittle update on our lives! I am still working at good old Deseret Book and going to school. Which is not that fun and very stressful but what can you do?! Justin just started working for a dirtbike shop down Boulder Hwy. Things happened with his other job and he was laid off. So he gets to do something he loves, talk about Dirtbikes and Quads and all that stuff. He is pretty stoked about it and well I'm just glad he got another job! He is also going to school at NSC. But next semester he is going to start his EMT courses at CSN so he can try out for the fire department! Wish us luck! But other than all that crazy stuff we have been enjoying married life! The wedding was beautiful the Honeymoon was so fun! We appreciate all of you that has helped us out! Hopefully I will be able to get back on here again to keep you all updated on whats to come!! Thats it for now!
